is a Quality Assurance/Regulatory Affairs Engineer at Hill-Rom Holdings, Inc. in Batesville, Indiana.
In his 15 year career at Hill-Rom, David has held a variety of positions in manufacturing, quality, and product development. He spent time as a manufacturing engineer in final assembly and welding, a quality engineer in electronics assembly and test, metrology and calibration lab manager, quality engineer in metal fabrication, welding, furniture assembly, and final assembly, and quality assurance/regulatory affairs engineer.
In his current roll, David leads cross-functional Product Improvement Council teams and is the quality representative on a Value Stream Team.
David is a graduate of Purdue University with Bachelor and Master Degrees in Industrial Engineering.
He is a Certified Quality Engineer and a certified 6-Sigma green belt at Hill-Rom.
He is also a member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers, Society of Manufacturing Engineers, Biltmore Who's Who, and John Purdue Club.
In addition to his professional career, David is also actively involved in the community.
He is a captain in the Morris Volunteer Fire Department, a CYO basketball coach, and a part time farmer.
David and his wife Michelle have four sons.
