Friday Fast Facts Redesign Coming Next Week!
Based on feedback we received from member leaders, many enhancements have been made to Friday Fast Facts to improve the readability and accessibility of information. We are excited to introduce this redesign to you next week, so stay tuned!   

Forget to Register for the Community Leadership Institute?
Advance registration for the Community Leadership Institute has closed, but you may still register on-site, Saturday, May 22. If you still plan on attending, please contact Community Development. Attendees may also still be eligible for the member leader conference registration rate if the two discounts offered have not already been claimed by others in your member unit. SR Events at World Conference
If you will be attending the World Conference on Quality and Improvement in St. Louis, May 24-26, stop by the Social Responsibility booth in the ASQ Center and take part in these interactive events:

  • SR Community Wall - Describe what SR means to you by using pictures and phrases to write a message on the SR Community Wall (supplies will be provided). Not going to the conference? You can still participate by clicking on the Facebook link at the top of www.thesro.org . Become a fan of theSRO Facebook fan page and post stories, pictures, and video!
  • Leu Civic Center's Blue Blow Campaign - Looking to make a difference? At the SR booth, we will be looking for volunteers to attach a ribbon to a card. The cards will be distributed to local schools and organization to help get the word out about child abuse prevention. Click here to learn more.

Training Search and Rescue Teams - A Quality for Life™ Video Story
For those in imminent danger, the work of search and rescue teams is a matter of life and death. Hear how ASQ member Dr. Alice Gobeille uses quality tools to improve training for search and rescue programs. Click here to view the video.

ASQ Certifications Help Students After Graduation

New Regional Directors Appointed
Congratulations to Frank Golden and Bryan Miller. Golden has been appointed to fill the vacancy in Region 11B. Miller has been appointed to fill the vacancy in Region 15B. Both appointments were approved by the SAC chair. Their terms will run through June 2011.
